Buktrip is an independent travel-guide publisher. Our city guides to the world’s hidden gems are free to read and written on merit. To keep the lights on, some of the links on this site are affiliate links.

What that means

When you click an affiliate link and book something — a small-group experience, a tour, a place to stay or another travel service — the provider pays us a commission. You pay the same price you would have paid going to them directly; the commission comes from their margin, not your wallet.

Who we work with

• Experiences & tours — booked through partners such as Viator. Availability, pricing and the booking itself sit with the provider.
• Flights, stays & travel essentials — via travel networks such as Travelpayouts (Aviasales, Hotellook and others).
• More to come. As Buktrip grows we are joining further affiliate programmes and adding genuinely useful products and services. Anything we earn from will always be disclosed here and marked where it appears.

How we stay independent

Which places make a Buktrip guide is an editorial decision, never a paid one. A spot earns its place by being worth the detour, not by having a bookable product attached. We don’t take payment for inclusion, and a partnership that got in the way of an honest recommendation wouldn’t be worth having.
