Old Boma Natural History Museum
Set in a thick-walled German fort begun around 1899, this small museum traces Arusha's growth alongside human-origins exhibits, including casts and finds echoing nearby Olduvai Gorge. Three low buildings frame a leafy botanical courtyard where staff often walk you through the displays personally. The grounds double as the home of Via Via cultural cafe, making it an easy half-day anchor.
Why go: A calm, shaded slice of colonial and prehistoric history a short walk from the Clock Tower.
